I have some big files (well they aren't really but PQ doesn't like them) containing quarterly data which I want to combine /analyse in a time series.

If I try and pull all the data in with one query the excel just flounders and stalls so I set up a query in each file to make it a two stage process.

So how do I now merge these queries in a final workbook please? i.e. the merge nd append options all relate to queries in the current workbook not other ones.

Do I then have to copy all these queries again into a new workbook and change the source in each - seems to be loads more steps than I had in excel to start with!

Thanks

Hi Peter,

What happens if you create two queries in one file and then merge/append the two queries?

Mynda
