Good day
Our office has recently migrated to a full Microsoft solution/domain, now I am getting the following errors on my queries, which link to external files and sources.
"Unexpected error: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer" See attached image.
Our local IT department has not been able to resolve this issue. Can you please point us in to a possible resolution on this error?

Hi Keith,
Looks like the account being used to access the file does not have the required permissions to do so.
If you've just moved everything to Windows PC and Windows Servers then security for accessing files across networks will need to be configured appropriately.
I can't tell from your image what is being accessed and from where. It looks like a CSV file on a C: drive. If you are trying to access a CSV file on your own PC, the PC's hard drive may be locked down.
Typically, you wouldn't be accessing files on your own PC in this way, it makes backing things up hard for the IT People - I used to do this very job.
I'm surprised your your IT Dept haven't been able to help. I'd start by checking the security on the file and it's location, and compare that to the rights the account trying to access the file/location has. Then maybe move the file to a place that it can be accessed. Normally each user on a network will have a drive located on a server that is accessed across the network, and you'd have permissions to access anything in that drive.
regards
Phil
