Hello All,

I am enclosing herewith a sample file I have downloaded from myexcelonline website.

I am currently learning power query.

When I am using Pivot Column with Median and Average the Median Query shows Qtr1 as Blank and the Average Query shows all 4 Qtrs as Blanks.

In Power Query it shows the values under all the 4 Qtrs in both instances.

I searched the internet for the solution but could not get the answer.

What am I doing wrong?

All other functions work except Median and Average.

Any help and guidance would be appreciated.

Hi Rashid,

Change the data type to decimal number and then the queries can load correctly. 

Maybe next time you should learn Power Query from me 😉

Thanks for your reply. It works after changing the Data Types to Decimal.

Now I understand the importance of Data Types.

I will keep in mind your offer.
