When my source file is a Folder with csv files being added to it every day that all contain the same structure, should get and transform begin with 2 or more of the files so that power query will automatically update as more csv files are added to the folder?

Hi Jen,

As long as you use the Get Files > From Folder path it doesn't matter if there's only one file in the folder. Just make sure that file is representative of the other files that will be added. i.e. column names and number of columns.

Hi Mynda,

Yes they are all the same structure just with different data I’m the columns.

When I added my second csv file it is not updating and I refreshed everything. I only see the one query containing rows from the first csv file.   Is it ok that my source data is located in a sub-folder?  Perhaps this is the problem?

Thank you

All of the files must be in the same folder.
