Hi,
Is there any way I can create a step on a query, that can filter a month column 3 months out? Without me having to go and fix the step, every time i open the report?
I want it to do the following. Say i want to run a report in Sept, so it filters everything in the month of December. Then in Oct it filters everything for January. In Nov it filters everything for Feb. etc.
How can I create a query step that does that, without me having to fix the step every month? Please advise?
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Cele
Hi Cele,
You can use a query parameter to set the date you want to use. See lesson 7.01 of the Power Query course.

The Power Query course i purchased only goes to lesson 6.12
Even the syllabus states that....not sure which course you are referring to...?

Hi Cele,
I added some new tutorials to the course (session 7) but, you must not have renewed your membership.
If you want to share your file here and explain what fields you're wanting to filter etc. then I can set it up for you, or you can renew your membership for 50% off if you prefer.

How do i renew my membership?
I'll email you the renewal link. Let me know if you don't receive it.
