Hi All,
I'm seeking the help of extracting the text (month contractions, e.g., Jan, Feb., etc.) from a text in Power Query so as to use it in further analysis. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Please elaborate and clarify what exactly you would want to extract from the example texts in your post.

I need to extract the name of the month out of a long text in order to use it for further analysis. And I need this to be by using power Query.
I attached an example.

Thanks for the file. If the texts are really as straight-forward as in your example, the easiest way would be to first extract everything before " 2024". Then, the month name can be extracted based on what comes after the first space as seen from the end. See attached.
If your real data isn't that simplistic, please upload a file with realistic texts.
