Hhi,

I have a file with multiple queries getting data from different excel files, stored on different SharePoints, I suddenly have an error for all my queries of that kind, some of those source files are even not changed

Error Message:
[DataFormat.Error] The input couldn't be recognized as a valid Excel document.

Stack Trace:
Microsoft.Mashup.Engine1.Runtime.ValueException: [DataFormat.Error] The input couldn't be recognized as a valid Excel document. ---> System.ArgumentException: Specified value has invalid CRLF characters.

There is 1 query still running, the one where I connect via SharePoint.Files

see attached screenshot of error

wondering what could be the reason for this

Hi Claudine,

I've not experienced this error before, however fellow Microsoft MVP Sergei Balkan wrote this post on the possible causes. I hope that helps.

Hi Mynda

Thank you for the feedback!

I noticed that post, and also this one, with the same error  message : invalid CRLF
