I have build a query with a source CurrentWordbook which is pointing to a folder direction saved in the same excel workbook.
I would like now to share the query with other users within my organization.
The error pops put: "Query "x" (step "x") references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source. Please rebuild this data combination."
This one is very siminar to the Firewall message described in other forums, but the word "Firewall" does not appear in the error.
Is there a workaround?

The easiest way is to go to to Set the privacy level of the Data Source as None or Public, it will no longer display that error.
Of course, this should be used if there is no need to set a privacy level. If you need a privacy level set, please see more details here.
