I have a dashboard set up and it queries files on my local hard drive and I want to change it so it looks for them in a sharepoint or one drive folder so I can share the dashboard with other users. I found an article explaining how to do it and it said there was an option under get data / from sharepoint folder. I do not have that option in my version of excel and I doubt the business is going to upgrade just for me. Is there still a way I can achieve this, even if I have to start my dashboard from scratch? Thanks for any help.

Hi Ashley,
The SharePoint connector is only available in Excel 2019 or 2021 Professional Plus or with a Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise license.
The only other way you could work with the data on SharePoint is to sync the files to your hard drive with OneDrive and reference the hard drive version of the file with Power Query. In this case you would only need to potentially change the drive the query is pointing to.
This approach means that only you can refresh the queries because they will be referencing files on your PC's hard drive. Unless you sync them to a shared network drive with OneDrive that everyone who needs to refresh has access to.
Hope that clarifies things.
