Dear Mynda
First, thank you for taking the time to answer my question, and sorry to be so intrusive.
I´ll try to elaborate the problem, it is in PQ that I want to use the count / count distinct functions, but for some reason that I can’t figure out why it´s not working.
Of course, it´s possible to do it in Power Pivot, so the problem is more a puzzle than a real problem, but being a bit stubborn, it interests me to find the solution.
I have loaded a small sample file including a couple of screenshots, hoping that it will give some meaning.
I´m using MS365
And thank you again for making a very educational and easy-to-understand YouTube channel with relevant topics.
Best regards

Hi Ivan,
Thanks for sharing the example file. The bottom 3 options do not need a column to count because they are counting rows grouped by the columns you've specified i.e. skoleforloeb and cosa_kontonr.
These operations return a single value. Specifying a column to count wouldn't make any sense here. If you wanted to include a third column in the count, then you would add it via the 'add grouping' button.
I hope that clarifies things.
Mynda
