Hi
I have a .XML file generated from a Hotel management system, but could not open in Power Query like opening in Excel.
In Excel, I can drag the file to open and a pop up will appear to select open As an XML table, the data will be 20 columns & 29 rows
In PQ, I tried open using Get Data as XML file and only 4 columns/1 row appears, and tried to expand the columns but no info were available.
Could you please help to suggest how I can open this file in Power Query.
Thank you
Kanit

Hi Kanit,

Welcome to our forum!

When the file opens in the Power Query editor window, click on 'Table' in the 'LIST_G_C6' column. Then click on 'Table' again. This displays the data in the xml file.

I hope that helps.
