Error changing data source to network drive

Hi,

I have a query that imports data from a large number of identically structured Excel files. I first tested it with data on my laptop and, when I had it all working well, attempted to change the data source to a network folder. I followed the instructions at Changing Data Source Location in Power Query • My Online Training Hub, but I can't get it to work.

In the Helper Queries, Sample File, I see that the Navigation applied step shows the sample file on my laptop, the path hasn't changed. The error message is: Expression.Error: The key didn't match any rows in the table.

There are other errors showing in 'Transform Sample File', but maybe this will resolve when the above one is. Any pointers as to how to correct my error are appreciated.

TIA,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Is the network folder a SharePoint folder? If so, the connector is different. If not, then you can edit the M code via the advanced editor for each query to make sure they're pointing to the correct folder.
