Hi,
Is there anyway to import data from a .dbf file using Power Query and keep the connection after saving in another format?
It is part of an ESRI Shapefile and the original file needs to maintain its original extension.

Hi Fernando,
I've not tried as I don't have any .dbf files, but this thread offers a solution: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/samlester/2018/02/23/importing-a-dbf-file-into-power-bi/
Note: it's in Power BI, but Power BI uses the same Power Query engine as Excel so you can use is as described in the post.
