Hi
Is it possible to automatically reduce the spacing between Pivot Tables on a Worksheet, as the Pivot Tables become smaller?
So, for example, there are two Pivot Tables both displaying Outstanding Tasks, one above the other, both displaying data. As the project progresses the data in the Pivot table is reduced as the tasks are completed and are therefore no longer shown on the Pivot Tables. This is being issued to all the external Consultants, Architects etc. to show them a snap shot of what is outstanding.
At the start of the project, each Pivot Table is full, and I have allowed 3 excel rows between each Pivot Table. However, as the items reduce, the Pivot Tables do resize automatically in the vertical direction, but this means more blank excel rows are left between the Pivot Tables. It would be nice if the Pivot Tables can move closer together, or am I just wishing for too much.
I did think of combining the Tables into one Data source, but while most of the columns have the same heading, there are two columns that have different headings.
Anyway, really great Youtube channel, and very informative videos. Thank you.
Kind regards
Mike

Hi Mike,
Welcome to our forum! Glad you enjoy my videos
There's no built-in way to automatically move the PivotTables closer together as rows become available. You'd have to write some VBA code to automate this.
Generally, I don't recommend having PivotTables close together in case they try to overlap each other. I'd be more inclined to combine the two sources and live with the extra columns for some of the data.
