Not sure if I posted this or not (couldn't find it in the forum if I had). I want to refer to a date that filters a pivot table based on a PowerPivot. I can get this to work no problem in Excel. Basically it checks if a certain date i.e. Revenue date in a column is before or after a cut-off date. If it is before it is "Earned". If it is after it is "Deferred". How can I set this up so that the user just has to enter this date on another cell in the Excel sheet that has the pivot table (based on the PowerPivot file) and refresh. Then they can instantly see at any date what is "Earned" and "Deferred". Thanks
