Hi,
I´m looking for a way to connect PowerPivot directly to Salesforce, but I couldn´t find the data connection link. In Excel there is an option under Get Data->From Online Services -> From SalesForce.
Is it also possible in PowerPivot?
Thx.
Best regards, Christoph
Hi Christoph,
Welcome to the forum 🙂
You can use Power Query (not Power Pivot) to get the data (Data tab of the ribbon) 'from Online Services' > 'From Salesforce Objects' or 'From Salesforce Reports'. From Power Query you can load to the Power Pivot data model.
I hope that points you in the right direction.

Thank you

Sorry,
one further question regarding connections. Do you know if it´s possible to connect SAP directly to Power Pivot or Power Query or Excel?
Nice weekend.

Hi Christoph,
With Power Query you can connect to SAP HANA Databases.
