Hi,  how is the organization set up in Power BI.  Is it how you purchase the subscription?

Thanks,

Hi Angela,

When you purchase a subscription it's important that all Power BI users who wish to share and collaborate also use the same email domain for their Power BI account. The email domain is what Power BI uses to recognise people from the same organisation, or 'Tenant' as it's called.

There is more information on pricing and subscriptions here:

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

I hope that helps, but let me know if you have further questions.

Mynda

Thanks Mynda

This definitely helped.  One last question.  If we publish to the cloud, then I assume the rates for cloud storage will apply also.  Is that true?

And one last thing.  I want to thank you for the very informative and easy to follow online training sessions.  It enabled me to do a presentation to the COO and CFO.  They are very excited and consider this "a game changer".  Now we just have to see what the CIO says.   Hopefully he will okay publishing to the cloud.

Hi Angela,

I'm so pleased my training has been worth your while.

Publishing to the cloud is included in your Pro licence. The catch is that each user who wishes to view the reports must have a pro licence, but there are no extra charges for cloud storage, as such.

Good luck with it 🙂
