Hi Mynda,
I used custom column excel.workbook [content] to get file from folder. Worked perfectly the first time, then I replaced the existing file with new data (I don't want to append data, I need to replace it) on refresh the binary file showed the new xlsx file but under the content column I get this error:
DataFormat.Error: The document cannot be opened because there is an invalid part with an unexpected content type.
[Part Uri=/xl/drawings/drawing1.xml],
[Content Type=application/xml],
[Expected Content Type=application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.drawing+xml].
Details:
[Binary]
I don't understand this error, the file is .xlsx and is the same format as the original file.
I have tried to ask the community but once again, I cannot post the query since I get asked to sign in and I don't have a power bi account yet and I can't sign in with my Office account since this is a personal email account.
Thanks
Tracy
Hi Mynda,
Further to this, I have 4 other queries all using excel.workbook to add content from a folder and all of them have the same error. The strange thing is, it's only the new data, and two of the queries have no error on one of the new files. It's difficult to explain so please see link to both the .pbix and the source data.

Hi Tracy,
The problem with the 'Top' files appears to be formatting. I opened the files and removed all formatting and the queries refreshed without errors. Not sure why as formatting shouldn't cause a problem.
The ChannelProfiles error is caused by a missing column for 'Audiences'. And the Dow error is due to a missing column for 'Dates'. Reach had no issues.

Hi Mynda,
Thanks so much, I really appreciate you taking the time to check the data. I clearly couldn't see the wood for the trees! I was supposed to have checked the data - I get this from a client so don't run it myself.
tnx
Tracy.
