Hi,
I am writing to ask if there is a way of returning a value using lookups or matches, referring to two different criteria.
In the example I have attached (2nd one is the highlighted version) i have used XLOOKUP to return a UNIT COST (Highlighted yellow) depending on the product type. I would like to add another condition e.g. unit costs changing depending on year to account for inflation (highlighted green).
I would be most grateful for any support on this
With many thanks
Nick

I believe you need to clarify a few points.
The table called "Table2" has Unit headers named "unit 2024" through "unit 2028".
Then, the Income Projection table has a Year column with values 2004 and 2005, though the dropdown allows for values from 2004 to 2008. Are these years in any way related to the headers in Table2? Did you intend to use 2024 to 2028 in the dropdowns in stead?
The unit column (yellow) returns the unit price from Table2 from the [unit 2024] column for all rows. Why? Or is it so that, assuming 2004 should be 2024 and 2005 should be 2025, you want to pick-up the corresponding prices for those years from Table2?

Hi Riny,
thanks for your response - you are quite correct - the years in the income projection table are quite wrong - I was working on it too late yesterday.
I have amended the file and attached below
You are correct in assuming that I want to refer to Table 2 for the unit prices depending on year and product.
Many thanks for your patience and help
