There are options showing in my slicer that (1) don't make any sense and (2) are empty. How can I exclude them from the available selections:
QUARTERS:
Qtr1
<1/1/2018
>3/2/2024
Qtr 2
Qtr 3
Qtr 4

That's by design, but you can hide the slicer buttons if there is no data for them.
Select the slicer, then on the Slicer ribbon press Slicer Settings and enable 'Hide items with no data'
