Can someone please help me.
I have a pivot table with Rows as a list of Victoria Local Government Area names.
Rows are rank numbers of largest to smallest % Aboriginal population of total Area population e.g. Melbourne has an Aboriginal population of 2% and is ranked 11 of the 78 Local Government Areas. When I filter to show Melbourne the rank number re-calculated to 1. How do I stop this.
I am making a dashboard of ABS data and need to show multiple demographic data rankings.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
You would have to load your data to the Power Pivot data model and write a DAX measure that ignores filters to retain the rank percentages based on the source data table total, rather than what's present in the PivotTable.
If you get stuck, you can post your question and an example Excel file in the Power Pivot forum.
