I've changed file type associations to the files with extension .png then opened them with ms Photo application without problems. However, when I tried to open those png files from Excel hyperlink formula the DEFAULT application ms Paint still activated. How should I do to change it effectively? Thanks.

Close the Excel file then open it again, It takes effective thereafter.
