Hi there
I have a list of employee clock on and off times and I need to be able to create an ORDER of occurance for each clocking, per employee, per day.
I dont know where to start, looking for some guidance please. I have attached my workbook.
I want the formula to replicate the results I have manually keyed into column H.
Appreciate any assitance!

You were almost there. Although, I would have done it only a little bit different when it comes to splitting the date and time as demonstrated in the attached file.
But, the solution to your problem lies into applying a Custom Sort where you can first sort by Employee numer (smallest to largest), then by the date/time (oldest to newest) in what I called the 'helper' column.
