How do I make my Excel sheet on MS Teams open CONSISTENTLY at the last edited or at cell A1?
I have several shared Excel sheets in MS Teams, and they open at random cell numbers (can be in the hundreds), which requires the users to scroll back up each time they open the file, or they enter the data into the wrong cell if they didn't realise they are at the wrong cell. I have read that Excel opens at the last edited cell, but I have tried this out and it seems like it still opens at a different cell from the one I last edited. And there is no way we are editing all the way down at cell 600. I have also seen some forums that gave VBA/macros to make the sheet go to a certain cell, but macros cannot run on MS Teams.
I have been getting lots of complaints from my colleagues about this issue so I would be really grateful it this problem can be resolved! Thank you!

Hi Lauren,
Unfortunately, it's out of our control. Teams opens excel in a browser in fact, that Teams window is a browser window, and excel opens in Excel Online basically, not in excel desktop, that's the reason why macro is not working in teams.
All I can think of is to try to clear the browser cache, i think Edge browser is used inside teams app.
