Format issue viewing excel report on desktop vs iPad

The number formats and charts in my (excel) sales report are fine if opened on a desktop but not on an iPad.  When the report is opened on an iPad, the numbers lose the comma and add 3 decimal places, the axis scale changes on my bar charts and the gauge/speedometer charts change the fill colors so the full circle pie chart is displayed and the rotation degree shifts. Is there a way to maintain the formatting of an excel report when it is opened on either a desktop or iPad?  (The report needs to stay in excel as it has grouping functionality.)

Hi Karen,

I don't use Excel for iPad but I wonder if you have AutoSave set for the file you're opening and when you open the file the iPad saves it and in doing so it updates the charts etc. to those features supported on the iPad.

If that's not it then you're best to post your question on Microsoft Answers where the Excel product team can help you. Click the Participate menu > ask a question.
