Hi,
While in service i began by using add-ins for converting numbers to words in English in my office works. Later i felt the need for converting the currencies / numbers to words in Hindi the language of India and used an add-in developed by Mr. Shailesh Shah. named rupees in hindi (rsinhindiword.dll) (url enclosed with this post). The add-in worked well till i used it in excel 2007. Now when adding it in excel 2016 i get an error of automation server. while troubleshooting it i gained information that the code needs to be converted to 64 bit or so and needs to be recompiled. i do not know anything about this.

Can you please help me in this by improving upon the add-in so that i can use it and demonstrate it to my students.

Thanks.

This has more to do with Microsoft and especially the 32 to 64 bit conversion than something with Excel I think.

Did you search the web on something like 'conversion .dll 32 bit to 64 bit'?

I found some information, but I'm not sure if this helps you:

Hope this helps, cause I understand it can be a very good solution for your translating. Good luck!

Thank Frans.

It did not help much. Most was too technical to understand.

The dll is actually an excel add-in to be loaded as an automation add-in.

Thank anyway.

OK, sorry to hear it didn't help. I hope one of the more 'technical' people here can help you further. Good luck!
