Hi Diaa,

I don't know of a fix for this issue and a Google search didn't have any conclusive fixes, so I'd be inclined to find a workaround like using Power Query to calculate the item before loading the data to Excel and creating your PivotTable. I can't really help you more without a sample Excel file containing your data and desired result.

Hi Diaa,

When I try to add a calculated item in your file I get the error "This PivotTable report field is grouped. You cannot add a calculated item to a grouped field".

Your date field is grouped by days and months. This grouping will prevent you adding any calculated items. If you want calculated items and grouped fields, then you need to add the calculated items to the source data. It cannot be done in the PivotTable. Or, add the date groupings for month and year to the source data as additional columns.
