Hi
I can not work out why the formula is giving an error?
Any help greatly appreciated

I think that Averageif needs a range rather than selected cells
=AVERAGEIF(B4:H4,">0") seems to work okay, doesn't work with named range either as far as i can see

Hi Paul,
You need to unpivot the data so it's in a tabular format to work with these functions. They are not designed to work with non-continuous columns.
