Hi Mynda,

Putting together the 2 Pivot tables with the Slicer, referring to lesson 5.9 Dynamic Filters, where did you "source your data from"?.

Cheers Valerie

Hi Valerie,

In the Excel file for session 5 the 'Menu' sheet has a hyperlink  button to the lesson TOC for session 5.09 (the 5.09 TOC sheet is called 'Date Filters Menu'). On that sheet there is a hyperlink button to the 'Source Data' sheet, which is called 'tbl_date_filters'.

Another way to find the source data of a PivotTable is to click on a cell in the PivotTable to activate the PivotTable contextual ribbon tabs. From here click on 'Change Data Source'. This will show you the Table/Range source data for that PivotTable.

Hi Valerie,

I don't understand your question "how do I get the Sep filter next to the date?". Can you please show me, either with a screen shot or attach your file.

Mynda
