hi all-
i have a chart, and i'd like to be able to show bar charts with different levels of transparency based on another data value. is that possible?
so imagine i have data like:
type, height, concentration
oak, 10 feet, 30%
elm, 15 feel, 50%
and i make a bar chart showing height by tree and i want to use the 30% and 50% values for the transparency.
if not excel, maybe Power BI?

Hi Jed,
Welcome to our forum! You can do this in Power BI with conditional formatting, but conditional formatting for charts isn't available in Excel.
