Good morning,

I get a Pivot Table every few days. My question to you is about 'Show Details' or Duble Click Field. In my case let us say that This Field 'Z' shows number 3 and now if I double click on it or click on Show Details, I need to find out 2 different types of numbers. Let us say if there is a, b, c then the number is 3 (1+1+1)and if it is f,g,h then it is 0(0+0+0) (Meaning some letters I have to count and add them and others have no value just zero) How do I get these 2 values without drilling down for every record. I have 100's of records, it is going to be time-consuming. Is there any way I see these numbers in the pivot table only and not by drilling?

Any advice, Please?

Thanks,

Peace

Hi and welcome to our forum!

Can you please provide a sample file as I'm struggling to visualise the issue. You can just create a small set of dummy data rather than the file with 100s of records.

Thanks,

Mynda

Hello Mynda,

Thank you! I attached a screenshot. Hope that this will be helpful. This is one of the reports out of many reports from the Dashboard.

Thanks,

Peace

Please provide a sample Excel file with some dummy data/extract of your data that illustrates the problem.

Thanks,

Mynda

Hello Mynda,

Thank you! I can't use the extract of my data. I tried to show you in the screenshot. It didn't allow me to edit the file so I am attaching it again.

If it is still confusing and not clear then please let me know so that I don't expect a solution.

Thanks,

Peace

The problem is the screenshot doesn't illustrate the structure of the underlying data. What people usually do when they can't share their data is to create a dummy set of data or anonymise their data so that they can share a file. We don't need your whole dataset, just enough rows to illustrate the issue.

Mynda
