Hello,
Please see attached spreadsheet. I have one source table on the Data sheet. I have a pivot table on the dashboard sheet. I would like to create a dashboard view that hides/removes certain data from being shown to the user. I have tried several different methods but none are working.

Welcome to our forum!
You can load the Data table to Power Query and then create two versions of the data, one that excludes DEV and QA and one that doesn't. Both versions are linked to the Data table, so you're only maintaining one table.
This will enable you to create two PivotTables, one from each query and customised Slicers. See attached.
Note: this obviously doesn't secure the DEV and QA data from those using the file. That's simply not possible in Excel. If you need this then you'd have to create two separate Excel files: one with DEV and QA and one without.
