Hello All,

I'm using microsoft 365 and windows.

I have an issue. I have big data and contain capacity & forecast each month and it's update twice a month.

1. I want to show up using chart (chart no. 1) but only show Top 3 percentage from all product type. on the pivot char I changed the value quantity become percentage of column total. but when I used filter Top 3 on the pivot. the number of percentage it's changing. (see example T-Shirt on the pivot table 1 is 31.95% while I used Top 3 filter it become 41.11%. is there any other option to make Top 3 highest percentage product?

In the real dashboard I will using slice so if I choose several month , the chart will update automatically Top 3 base on the selected months.

2. If I want to make dashboard like this (chart no. 2) it's possible do in excel ? the number and product type name will update base on slicer that I choose.

3. It's possible if I want to make dashboard like this (chart no. 3) ? I want also to know every new forecast come. how many deviation from the last forecast to the new forecast. I also want to use slice to make this update on the selected months

Kind Regards,

Justin R

Hi Justin,

Instead of using the value filter for top 3 in the PivotTable, you can create a regular chart from the PivotTable that only references the first 3 rows of the PivotTable sorted from largest to smallest.

Likewise for chart number 2, except here you create 3 separate doughnut charts.

You can create the third visual using text boxes. I do something similar in this dashboard.
